Level 6 Physical Therapy along with osteopathic dry needling 2012-2014

Level 2 fitness instructor 2016

I have worked with horses since I was 16, teaching children and beginners, riding and producing horses and young stock, worked in breeding yards with mares and foals and competitive show jumping stallions.

I moved to cork with my parents in 2010 and was checkout supervisor in Dunnes stores in Clonakilty until 2015. During that time, I studied Diploma level 6 Physical Therapy, qualifying in 2014.

Beginning of 2015 I moved back to Belfast and started working in Whinney Hill Kennels, I love being able to look after and care for other people’s pets the way I would want mine looked after.

I have been working on my own doing sports massage and dry needling on location since I qualified.

I have always been around animals and have always had dogs at home. I started horse riding when I was 4, and still enjoy it now as a hobby. I also enjoy running in my spare time.

I decided to further my career into small animal hydrotherapy to combine my interest of rehabilitation therapy into the canine world. When I was younger I wanted to pursue veterinary physiotherapy after school but the opportunities were much more limited then compared to now so I took a different root of study, and it has lead me back round to studying small animal hydrotherapy now, and I hope that my previous studies will help me along my new journey.
